Wanting to get an early start, I was up at 3:30 am today only to discover that Otis had had several accidents on the carpet. My first thought was that this was brought on by stress over the loss of Chuck. I had already decided to take Otis with me to Eastern Oregon because everyone back at home would either be working or at school, and I did not want to leave him alone for hours so soon after losing Chuck. After spending some time cleaning up, alas, Otis’s bowel distress was only beginning. We had to pull over several times for emergency relief or clean-up. Made for a long drive, but we arrived safely.
