I plan to spend time on the motorcylce in the Oregon outback and want to be able to shoot with my big camera, lenses, and drone. Rather than stuff separate cases inside my Givi top and side cases, I came up with the idea of customizing my cases with foam inserts. This will keep my stuff relatively dust-free and insulate the gear from the bumps in the road. This project took about a day between all the measuring and cutting, along with the trip to Foam Warehouse NW.

Started with the empty Givi Trekker 33-liter case.

Traced a template of the case borders into a piece of 1-inch thick foam.

Traced equipment lines with a sharpie and used electric knife to cut out sections.
