Shakespeare Arch

You can’t have a park in Utah without at least one arch. This one is Kodachrome Basin State Park’s offering. Just a quick hike from the road, this small but interesting arch elicited remarks of awe from Ben like, “I think we should have stayed in the truck.” It was a bunch hotter in Kodachrome than at Bryce, where it’s maybe a thousand or two feet higher. I had told the boys it was just going to be a quick, easy walk to see this arch, but it was in the low 90s when we left the pickup, and it wasn’t exactly a flat walk.
