Departing from the Kodachrome Basin State Park’s group campground, the boys and I took Angel’s Palace trail. It’s a very good hike that gives you wonderful vistas of many of the park’s features, including Angel’s Palace itself, pictured above.

The trail took us through a number of rock formations that looked like they were the model for Galaxy Quest’s scene with “ROCK! ROCK! ROCK!”
