Tiny tame critters abound. I’m guessing that nobody obeys the signs telling people not to feed the animals. There are even signs all over the place telling people to stop cruelty to animals by not feeding them. Ironically, doing so makes them incapable of finding their own food in the wintertime because they never learn out to forage when tourists are handing them peanuts all the time.
